Call for Papers: MRCG 2018 Symposium in St. Louis
We are gearing up for the Midwest Regional Conservation Guild's 2018 Annual Symposium this November 9-11 in St. Louis, Missouri! At this time we are accepting proposals for presentations. This is your chance to share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues. As in the past, we welcome topics from all specialties and on any aspect of your work.
Disaster recovery volunteers needed in Michigan (UP)!
As you may have heard, The Houghton County Historical Society (HCHS) had devastating damage to their collection and archives as a result of catastrophic rain and flooding in June. Early efforts have temporarily secured the collection, but there is a need to document and further stabilize it while the museum determines long-term options and resources.

Within the University of Cincinnati’s Preservation Services and Lab, coordinates the UC Library’s digital imaging projects and workflows, ensuring successful project completion. Operates and maintains digitization equipment and software. Creates imaging workflows, including image quality controls, digital conversion, and production reports.
