Full contents of paper/photo studio on offer!

Dear friendsI would like to begin by thanking my midwestern colleagues, particularly the members of the guild, for creating such a warm and accepting professional home. Being born and raised so close to the east coast that fog horns feel cozy, I would never have predicted that a landlocked existence would be acceptable, let alone so rewarding for so many decades. It is my intention to retire sometime in the next 12-18 months. I hope to transition with a minimum of stress and in a way that will provide continued benefit to the practice of conservation in this part of the country. With a select few exceptions, it is my desire to transfer the full contents of my studio to a newly minted paper and/or photo conservator. Equipment, supplies, and library would be free but for the cost of shipping, however, the recipient would be expected to take it all.I very much want to find someone with a desire to open a practice in the Midwest, and so I am beginning my search with you. Hopefully one of you knows someone nearing graduation, on a post-grad fellowship, etc who fits the bill. If you do know of someone who might be interested, please contact me or pass my information on.Thanks so much,Chris Young(cypapercon@gmail.com)
