REGISTRATION

You can now use PayPal to pay for your registration fees and annual dues! Just click on the PayPal icon in the menu bar on the right side of the page and enter your payment amount in the 'donation' field. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT in order to use this payment option. Once you click on the PayPal button on our site, there is a link at the bottom left that will allow you to pay with a credit card.

You must be an MRCG member to attend the Annual Meeting. If you have paid your dues for 2013, then the registration fee is $55. If you have not yet renewed/become a member, the fee is $75. The fee includes lunch on Saturday.

If you are paying for more than one person, please include details about who you are paying for in the 'Add special instructions to the seller' field, which will come up before you confirm your payment.

Friday October 17

5:00 – 7:00 pm – Opening Reception in the Crosby Conference Room at the Walker Art Center.

The Walker galleries will be open until 10:00 pm in celebration of their 75th Anniversary.

Saturday and Sunday activities will all take place at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (MIA). There are several pay parking lots available on 3rd Avenue South, however free all-day on street parking is available on the North side of West 24th Street and on Stevens Avenue South.

The symposium is being held in the Friends Community Room, which is located inside the Target Wing of the MIA.  The Target Wing has its own entrance which is accessible through the 3rd Avenue South entrance or from Stevens Avenue (see map)The MIA is located one mile south of the conference hotels on 3rd Avenue.

We regret that we are unable to provide coffee or snacks during the morning breaks; however, Dogwood coffee is available at the MIA starting at 10:00 on Saturday and 11:00 on Sunday.

Saturday October 18

8:55 am – Welcome from the MRCG President, Megan Emery

9:00 – 11:50 pm – Morning talks:

12:00 – 1:30 pm – Lunch (provided at the restaurant Jasmine 26)

1:30 – 3:10 pm – Afternoon talks:

 3:15 – 4:00 – Tour of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design 3D Printing Lab

4:00 – 5:00 – Networking event for Emerging Professionals

5:00 – 7:00 pm – Reception at the Midwest Art Conservation Center

Sunday October 19

9:00 – 10:40 am – Morning talks:

10:40 – 12:00 pm – Business Meeting

12:00 pm – Adjourn

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

Our room blocks have expired. However, we are still eligible for a group discount at the Best Western for as long as there are rooms available. The rates are confirmed for up to two people per room, additional guests are charged an additional $10.00 per night/per person. Room rates also do not include state and local taxes, presently at 13.4%.
