Job Opportunity: Assistant or Associate Professor in the Museum Studies Program - KU
The Museum Studies Program at the University of Kansas (KU) invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level expected to commence on August 18, 2024. The program seeks a scholar whose research and teaching examine the politics, ethics, and epistemologies of museum collections, exhibits, and pedagogy. We are particularly interested in Asian/Black/Indigenous/Latinx topics and/or museum politics, ethics, and epistemologies in a global context. We welcome applicants holding a doctoral degree in a related field, including (but not limited to) Anthropology, Archaeology, Architecture/Historic Preservation, Art History, Education, Ethnic Studies, History, Natural Sciences, Public Administration, Visual Arts/Culture, and Women’s and Gender Studies.
